Fire District 18
Fire station 25 is located at 3250 South Bay Drive and is on Lake Whatcom. This station houses our tender, rescue boat, and an initial attack rig. We also have a fully equipped weight room for volunteer firefighters.
Fire Station 26 is located at 431 Cain Lake Dr. This station houses the fire engine and ambulance. This station is also the location of the main office. Weekly classroom trainings and monthly commissioner’s meetings are held upstairs.
They currently have a full time fire chief, 18 volunteer firefighter/EMTs, several EMS only crew members. The volunteers respond whenever an emergency is imminent. The fire station is manned part-time. The station phone number is 360-595-0130.
